Corrections policy

How to report an error and how Practical Atlas records corrections, clarifications, and material revisions.

Report a problem

Include the document ID, the sentence in question, and a source or reproducible observation when preparing a correction report. The public contact inbox is not yet available in this prelaunch build. Reports are evaluated on evidence, not tone or affiliation.

What gets recorded

Typos and formatting fixes may be silent. Changes that alter meaning, recommendations, or cited facts receive a new visible review date and are rechecked against their named sources.

A useful correction report

  1. Page URL and document ID.
  2. The specific sentence or calculation input.
  3. What you expected and what happened.
  4. A public source or a reproduction with private details removed.

Do not include passwords, account numbers, customer records or a complete utility bill. We do not promise a response time before a monitored contact channel is operating.
